If you're anything like me, you love a deal. Especially in the makeup category. Even though we know ya girl loves to go to Ulta and get those points buying a new eyeshadow palette, I absolutely love finding some really good deals on makeup! One easy way to find awesome deals and awesome products is drugstore makeup. There are so many items that are not only incredible, but can easily be confused with high dollar products. In this blog post, I'm going to be sharing with you some of my personal favorites, their prices, and where to find them! Be sure to leave me a comment down below of any drugstore products you have tried or want me to try! PrimersModels Own Face Base // $14.99 the primer that I have listed is specifically for anti-redness (ya girl has red skin naturally), but Models Own also has other variations of this primer, including mattifying, hydrating, and illuminating. I am obsessed beyond words with this primer. For people with red skin naturally, this primer WORKS, and trust me, I've tried my fair share of "anti-redness" primers. Even though it's not the cheapest primer in the world, it is worth every penny! Physican's Formula Argan Oil Primer // $14.99 this primer... Y'ALL. First of all, I have combination skin (oily and dry, the best of both worlds), but since it's Summer in the great state of Arkansas, it tends to be a bit more oily. Because of this, I'm really weary of putting literal oil on my face because that just seems like the worst idea. I heard so many good reviews about this, and was in Ulta one day and just thought you know what? Let's try it. BEST. IDEA. EVER. First of all, it smells incredible because it has coconut water in it. My skin has never been so soft! L'Oreal Magic Perfecting Base // $12.99 I truly saved the best for last! This primer is actually something I use ERDAY. It's incredible. Pores? Nonexistent. Shine who? Pimple where? Seriously have NEVER seen a primer that truly smooths the skin so much. This primer has also been compared to so many high end primers. If you only get one primer from this section, GET THIS ONE! FoundationsMaybelline Dream Velvet Foundation // $5.49 This foundation is 100% my winter foundation, but it's still such a good deal! If you have dry skin, this is something you should definitely try this out. Since I'm more dried out in the winter, I decided to pick up this hydrating foundation from my local Target. I have to say, not only is it hydrating, it is one of the softest foundations I have ever felt on my skin, PLUS it's really full coverage! Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse Foundation // $9.99 This is actually my summer foundation! This bad boy has an airbrush finish, and they ain't lying! It's SO full coverage, but feels so thin on the skin. It's so breathable, which is something I really value in a summer foundation. Wet n Wild Photofocus Foundation // $5.99 If you're avid in the makeup world, you've definitely heard about this foundation. I am here to confirm every good thing you've heard about it! It is extremely full coverage but yet lightweight on the skin. I accidently bought a lighter shade than I need for the summer time, but with that great price, you can get all the shade range you need! ConcealersMaybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer // $9.99 This is a concealer that's new to my makeup collection, but y'all, it's staying. I am a victim of "falling down the YouTube hole until suddenly it's 3 am", so it's pretty often that I have semi-dark circles under my eyes. This concealer not only covers them really well, but really blends out to be completely full coverage. Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define Concealer // $7.00 Y'ALL. THIS CONCEALER IS THE BEST EVER. No lie. Don't get me wrong, I love my Shape Tape. But something about this concealer is so incredible. And for $7.00?! No competition. Powders Coty Airspun Translucent Powder // $5.97 This powder actually has several different shades to use as face powder, but I personally love getting this in the translucent powder to use it for baking! Those not familiar with the term "baking", don't be alarmed, I'm not putting makeup in my brownies! Y'all can grab this at your neighborhood Walmart and start setting that makeup. Milani Conceal+Perfect Shine-Proof Powder // $10.99 Even though I personally have been using BareMinerals powder, this powder is incredible! It really protects the shine, and it's such as nice powder to apply after setting. contourMorphe 8L Sculpt & Shimmer Palette // $25.00 I know what y'all are thinking... ASHLEY, THIS IS $25.00, NOT drugstore. I know, I know, but hear me out. Morphe is not only an affordable brand, it is a really incredible, high-quality brand. This palette was one of the best purchases I've made. It's really great for contouring, plus it has great highlighter shades in it as well. Wet N Wild Contouring Palette // $4.99 Now this... this is a "drugstore" price. This thing, even though it only has one contouring shade and a face powder shade, is a GOOD DEAL. The face powder shade is really full coverage, and the contour one works for quick contouring. BronzersModels Own Sculpt & Glow Bronzer // $12.99 This bronzer is something I'm still trying out, but so far I've really liked it! It's actually a cream to powder bronzer, which is something so unique and it's something I'd suggest everyone give a try. Physician's Formula Butter Bronzer // $14.99 This bronzer is one of the most talked about bronzers on the market, and rightfully so! This is actually one of my staple pieces within my makeup collection. This is SUCH a good bronzer! BlushMilani Powder Blush in Romantic Rose // $8.99 Even though this blush is online only, it is so worth shipping. I personally love the shade Romantic Rose, but whatever floats your boat! Milani is one of my favorite drugstore brands with high quality products, but this subtle pop of color is perfect for everyday glam. Physician's Formula Butter Blush in Vintage Rouge // $12.99 Though I don't have a picture of this blush (I dropped it! RIP blush, you'll be missed), it is one of the best blushes I've ever tried. I seriously want ALL THE SHADES. It's so natural and something I always use for "no makeup" makeup looks. HighlightersCatrice Strobe to Glow Highlighter Stick // $8.99 This is something else I'm still trying out, but really liked it! I have a golden shade, and it looks so good in the Summer sun! Physician's Formula Butter Highlighter in Pearl // $10.99 This is actually the 3rd one of these highlighters I've had (one of them I dropped, the other I used to it's entirety!!), and I will continue to buy them. I love this highlighter for a natural glow, and it's so buildable for full glam! Eye ProductsWet N Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Palette // $4.99 I love Wet N Wild, and they have SO stepped it up in production of their makeup. This palette in particular is not only a steal in price, but it is for real a dupe for the iconic Modern Renaissance palette. Maybelline Lemonade Craze Eyeshadow Palette // $13.99 I'm not gonna lie, this palette has it's faults. The mattes are less than desirable in this palette, the red's and yellow's especially. With that being said, the shimmers are phenomenal in this palette. Even though you shouldn't run out and buy this palette for that reason only, it is still something to mention! NYX "That's the Point" Hella Fine Eyeliner // $9.99 This is my go-to eyeliner! The "That's the Point" line from NYX has several different options of eyeliners and applicators, but I personally like this one because it is small for winged and focused eyeliner. L'Oreal Lash Paradise Mascara // $12.99 This is one of my holy grail mascaras! This is actually one of the most famous dupes, known as dupe for the infamous "Better than Sex" mascara from Too Faced, a high end brand. They also have a really great waterproof version! Models Own Liquid Metal Eyeshadow // $6.99 This isn't an exact dupe for the infamous Stila liquid eyeshadow (one of my staples), but it is SO SO good for the price. I have the shade "Copper", and it's so good for a little daily shimmer! Lip Products |
