Honestly, Food Network is a way of life and it can be incredibly addicting to watch. Especially with over 100 shows. This post is actually inspired by the fact that I'm currently recovering from a tonsillectomy, and have to have a soft-food diet (and real talk, all I want is hibachi chicken and steak!). Be sure to follow the links within this post to watch the shows I list! In this post, I'm counting down my favorite cooking/food shows that we often see on TV! 10. Man v. FoodI know some people can be easily disgusted by the fact that this show is literally a guy going around and taking on restaurant "eating" challenges, you have to admit that it's incredibly addicting. That's pretty much the reason it's on this list. That, and I like watching the making of a 10lb hamburger or the world's biggest pancake. 9. The great food truck raceEven though this show is no longer on the air, it used to be my JAM. It's still watchable on YouTube, which is actually what I've been doing during my recovery! 8. Resturaunt ImpossibleEven though this show isn't technically a "cooking" show, it's just so interesting to me to watch Robert Irvine literally tear apart ugly-looking restaurants. 7. Trisha's Southern KitchenYep, Trisha Yearwood! These southern recipes are so yummy (my mom and I have made a few!), and so fun to watch her make. Plus, what beats traditional comfort food?! 6. Cupcake WarsThis is another show that's no longer on the air, but it's on other outlets such as Netflix and Hulu. I seriously love this show so much. I don't know why it's so intriguing to me to watch a maximum of 2 people make an unearthly amount of unique flavored cupcakes, but it its. 5. Diners, drive ins, and divesWe all love the icon that is Guy Feiti. Seriously, this is another one of those shows that doesn't sound all that interesting but it's just so addicting to watch Guy cruise around America in search of hidden gems. 4. The pioneer womanI think all of us have a small part of us that want to be Ree Drummond. This show is the definition of "addicting" and being so close to home, I often relate to the recipes and stories she shares. 3. Halloween WarsTHIS SHOW IS MY JAM. Seriously doesn't matter how old I get, I will always be recording this show. 2. Guy's Grocery GamesAs I said, we love Guy Feiti. I seriously love this show. It's such a unique concept and so fun to watch Guy trick all the competitors in saying the word "go". 1. ChoppedThis is my all-time favorite show on the Food Network. If you haven't watched Chopped, please do yourself the favor and DO IT!
